New Zealand owned and operated, PPD Limited has been supplying pet specialty products to New Zealand companies for over 30 years.

Founded in 1992, PPD started off its days trading under the name PetElite Limited, before branching off in two separate directions in 2002, with part of the company becoming a 3PL organisation and the latter part becoming the PPD that operates today. Initially distributing out of a family garage, PPD has grown significantly since then, jumping between a few warehouses within Wellington as order volumes increased and now having an additional warehouse in Hamilton. PPD is part of the SVS Group family, joining the group in mid 2019.

Our PPD team has grown by a few over the past few years, now with 11 staff across our two locations. Most of our team are based in Wellington, including our DC Manager Robbie, and in the Waikato we have our Customer Service representative and Finance Manager, as well as two warehouse staff in our new distribution center.

PPD is committed to providing the best service to our customers, with a in-house customer service team for fast service and daily freight collections to ensure that orders are getting out the door fast. PPD is also an approved transitional facility, which means we have the ability to import goods and sea containers into New Zealand with products for our customers to stock.
